Police have confirmed that two prominent Imams BA Kawsu Fofana and Musa Saidy are charged and are being detained.
“It’s true. He (BA Kawsu) was invited for questioning. The police have cautioned and charged him with Musa Saidy. They are charged with incitement to violence and indecent assault,” police spokesperson ASP Binta Njie-Jatta just told this medium.
She added that the four disciples of Ba Kawsu who allegedly attacked Imam Musa Saidy were earlier arrested.
The development followed the invitation of the two for questioning extended to the duo following a reported clash recently.
