Hon. Kebba Jallow, Party Leader of the People’s Progressive Party (PPP), in a lengthy conversation on Kerr Fatou’s popular weekly show, the Brunch, said president Adama Barrow’s National People’s Party (NPP) doesn’t own them (the PPP).

Hon. Jallow made these remarks while responding to a question posed to him by the host on the statement attributed to him that president Adama Barrow betrayed their coalition agreement;

“We believe that is a coalition of parties. It is not party-own. That is what I am trying to say. NPP did not own any of these parties. We colluded because we believe in the same principles and ideas that we are there for the country. But if they are going as if the NPP owns other parties, not PPP. I cannot speak for other parties. But I can speak for PPP. That NPP did not own us. In fact, we created NPP. So I don’t see any reason why they can even sit down and not think of us. I don’t understand that. I will never sit down in my life or my party sitting down without thinking about president Barrow. We did everything humanly possible to make sure President Barrow is where he is now.”

Hon. Kebba Jallow made these remarks on the Brunch on Saturday after the National People’s Party (NPP) revealed the National Reconciliation Party (NRP) and Alliance for Patriotic Re-orientation and Construction (APRC) as their partners for the upcoming Local Government Elections.
