A renowned Islamic scholar, Mufti Ismail Musa Menk, has arrived in Gambia on Thursday ahead of his Saturday public lecture to be done at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
This is the first visit of the renowned scholar to The Gambia. Menk is expected to be in the country from November 1 to 3 as part of his Global Building Bridges Tour.
In collaboration with the Supreme Islamic Council, and the International Open University, Mufti Menk will hold a public lecture at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on November 3.
The entrance is free and the theme of the lecture is respecting differences. Gates open at 11am and lecture starts at 3pm.
