RE: GDC MOURNS THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN EBRIMA CAMBI.
Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) received news of the sudden demise of retired Captain Alagie Ebrima Cambi with utmost sadness. Mr. Cambi who passed away in The Gambia upon his returned from Geneva, was known to be a selfless and a great patriot who devoted his life in serving The Gambia.
It is without a doubt that his death has been marked with great shock and a great loss to this nation. We commiserate with the Cambi’s family, the National Army Force, and Commander in chief President Barrow to please accept our sincere condolence over this tragic loss.
We honour, reflect and remember his ultimate sacrifice for this country as you have earned our undying respect and gratitude for your tireless service.
We pray to God the Almighty to forgive him for his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdawsi.
